WE SHOULD ALL BE MINERS

This is a new year and I am in a good mood to give you diamond, gold, silver or even platinum. Just mention your preferred choice! If you took the words you read now to heart. That makes you a bigger joker than I am.  The honest truth is that the most satisfying gift you could ever have is one given to you by YOU. Whatsoever, you desire is waiting for you to take action to make it happen? What are you willing to do to make it a reality? How bad do you want it? How long do you want to sit and watch like a lonely puppy and hoping a bright light will shine through? I have got news for you. There is no bright light coming to you. ARE YOU A POLITICIAN OR AN ARMED AIDE?

Between choking laughter, nibbling on groundnut and bananas, we talked calmly. "Why did you offer me bananas?" "I see. So, I can't be nice anymore?" My eyebrows carving an arc in curiosity. "Mother Theresa, you don't give people bananas," He insisted. I chuckled. I was caught red-handed, I do not offer anyone those precious yellow darlings. We talked about a whole lot of things till he said something about people who accompanied others to the world. That struck a chord in my mind. A conversation could teach you a lifelong lesson. In his word, "Some people came to this world for a mission while the others just accompanied them." In split seconds, I imagined politicians alighting from cars while their armed aides jostled to secure their lives. I wondered how they felt after that. It's their job and I understand.
