HENSHAW JACOBSON: THE MAN WHO TRADED HIS FIRST LOVE FOR DIGITAL MARKETING

Henshaw Jacobson could pass for just any regular guy but what stands him out is his commitment and passion to his hustle. 
This promising young man who wears the shoes of a digital marketing professional, an online business coach, a personal brand consultant and the founder of QliqMedia- a digital marketing agency operating from Port Harcourt, Nigeria is a well of resources.
It will be easy to wonder if he had it all figured out from the start that this was the path he would walk. However he has a candid response to this,
“To be honest, I didn’t know I was going to do what I’m doing today. Growing up, I wanted to be a rapper. During my teenage years, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar and J Cole were my favourite rappers. I lived and breathed in rap music then. I’m sure many won’t believe that I have some unreleased records. Yes, I have great records, I also have a collaborative record with a South African Rapper and a US producer.”


He pauses to reminisce and laughs out loud, “I was using Facebook to stay updated with my favourite music stars until I realized I could use it to promote businesses and drive sales after helping a social media friend win a beauty pageant. I was only experimenting and getting results from Facebook ad then I realized I could build a business out of it when many people started reaching to help with Facebook ad.

Today, I’m grateful to God for my brainchild- QliqMedia.”
One of the most challenging things ever will be to keep the momentum of your motivation. When asked how he manages to stay motivated, he smiles 
“The fact that a lot of people are looking up to me and I need to be successful so I can help them to be successful too. I want to be successful so I can help others achieve success.”
Henshaw countenance can make him pass for one who has always had his bread buttered but like everyone he has his business challenges, “Getting the right people to work with. People with passion, skill set and great work ethics are hard to find. To achieve anything great, you need amazing people to work with. 
Being reminded of what his advice to a younger digital marketer would be, he says, “Stay focus on your goals, young champ and learn, learn, learn and don’t stop learning. Even the bible says my people perish because of lack of knowledge. So, Learn everything you need to be the best.
